As a Senior Manager US HCP Marketing, EoE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis) working on the EOE Brand Marketing team A typical day will include: POSITION OBJECTIVES: Support the successful launch of a first mover product (TAK 721) for the potential treatment of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) in the US market, focusing on Gastroenterology and Allergy HCPs as well as Primary Care to a lesser extent Establish Takeda as a leader in EoE, leveraging and extending Takeda s leadership in GI and enhancing the care of EoE patients in the US by contributing to the education and awareness efforts of our HCP community about the emerging and rare disease of EoE, need for diagnosis and monitoring, treatment approaches, etc. Be the strategic thought partner by championing the HCP promotional tactics through close collaborations with cross-functional partners, vendors and external stakeholders In focusing on the needs of the HCP customers, always place the interest of patients first in the context of Takeda s Patient/Trust/Reputation/Business values POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Execute key Marketing activities/tactics to implement our strategy. Guide agency partners to develop promotional and unbranded materials and champion materials through the review process Deliver a tailored suite of integrated HCP promotional materials for a first to market brand with the opportunity to shape the market through deep understanding of key market opportunities and challenges by closely collaborating with key stakeholders Represent Takeda and the TAK721 brand at various forums for HCP interaction such as Congresses , Speaker Bureaus, steering committees, symposiums etc. Develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other stakeholders and take a lead role in understanding true HCP needs and how best to address those opportunities Support the development and management of the Disease State Awareness and Branded campaigns Will serve as a key point of contact post-launch for product related inquiries, working collaboratively with other commercial team members (marketing, sales, sales training, reimbursement, medical affairs) to develop internal and external communications and respond to market feedback Manage projects with external agency partners to deliver high-impact tactics that meet our marketing, educational and customer engagement goals Overall marketing budget tracking and monitoring Demonstrate Takeda values daily. Act, and inspire others to act, in ways that are consistent with Takeda values and policies. EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Seasoned marketing professional with 5 years of health care experience, including 3-5 years within a US commercial organization with responsibility for pre-launch or in-line marketing. Launch experience is strongly preferred Experience developing core HCP promotional marketing materials and driving the promotional review process with a solution oriented mindset Digital Marketing experience is required - Web, CRM, Social media Pharma sales experience or Agency experience would be a plus Experience with the management of budgets and vendors BA/BS required, MBA or other advanced degree helpful Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to successfully execute complex tactics Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and translate scientific clinical data into commercial success Must have strong creative and strategic thinking skills; strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Manage projects with external agency partners to deliver high-impact tactics that meet our marketing, educational and customer engagement goals Drive to deliver results, a strong sense of urgency and accountability Self-starter who functions well independently and within a team. Ability to quickly master product and disease-state knowledge Experience leading cross-functional teams through indirect influence is required Enthusiasm, confidence, and leadership skills sufficient to successfully engage diverse stakeholders including senior Takeda executives and external thought leaders LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Relevant license/skills
